Stuff I did in Berlin
I’ve went to Pasta Opera with people from work. It is a bit like Medieval Banquet in Bunratty I imagine. It was in the former Clärchen’s Ballhaus, now Ballhaus Mitte, Auguststr 24 and we were treated to Verdi’s La traviata. The hall itself is actually missing a third of it’s roof, presumably WWII damage. You can see video clips here
And I’ve been driving an Opel Corsa and I nearly freaked to see snow falling in Spring but it was all okay in the end.
And I’ve been running again - still just around once a week but the last time was over 18K. The half marathon is on Sunday, the no-signs are up already and we’ve booked brunch for 10 (presuming that we all make it) in Cum Laude afterwards. Cum Laude used to be the professor’s dining room in the Humboldt University.
