After a week of work - 9 to 5, mon to fri I got a nice long break: sat, sun, mon, tue and wed! I could hardly believe it and started planning right away.
Today’s plans went a little astray however. I meant to go to charleville to look at a yaris. The first problem was in the college where I went to check if any better car was advertised and I couldn’t get on the network at all. Then I rang charleville - the good news being that the car is still there, the bad news that they were closing in 2 hours. So I decided to come straight home instead.

The next couple of days I’ll relax, watch some movies, go to the bog perhaps and then sort out car finance on Tue. Wed, I must try and meet my potential research supervisor to discuss my project proposal (for the IRCSET grant), do some househunting and whatever else crops up.

I expect that when I go back to Dunnes, we’ll be moving into the new store to get it ready for the grand opening. It’ll be a good change I hope

I went to the bog over the weekend - go me. I took a photo for all the doubters out there. Twasn’t as hard as I remember either. For those of you not familiar with turf, it’s pieces of earth being dried in the sun and we had to turn them over to dry the other side.

Went looking for a car today - a very reasonably priced Toyota Yaris at O’Meara Motors on the Ennis Rd. I was all excited and ready to bargain but it was long gone- oh well, back to the drawing board

Well, I think I’ve got a blog that I like up and working. Its a distraction from writing my research proposal - something to do with wireless LANs but more on that later.

A quick summary of the past few months
- I finished my degree in Computer Eng and got a first
- I’m working in Dunnes for the summer
- I’m either going to do a research project or a Business Admin course in Sept!
